read more…Mark D. BrannonDr. Brannon was born and raised in beautiful Arizona and has dedicated his life to making the smiles of his home state healthy and beautiful. Dr. Brannon completed his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in 1977 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1980. After opening his first private practice in 1981 in Phoenix, he rapidly became one of the most sought after dental medical professionals in the Southwest.
Dr. Brannon, believing in excellence without exceptions, has continued to learn and implement the latest advancements in procedures, technology and dentistry by attending courses and seminars on implant dentistry, periodontal therapy, TMD therapy, and sedation dentistry, as well as being well-informed and up to date on current dental research, scientific findings, and breakthroughs. Dr. Brannon’s integrity and knowledge of dentistry, paired with the wisdom that comes from working with people’s teeth for over 35 years, not only makes him a good doctor, but also makes him the person you can trust your smile to.×
Owen M. Waldman DMD
read more…Owen M. WaldmanDr. Owen Waldman graduated from Arizona State, receiving his B.S. in clinical nutrition, in 1991. With no dental schools in Arizona at the time, he went back east to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in Boston, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1995. A native New Yorker, Dr. Owen went into private practice in New York state in 1995 and quickly established himself as one of the top dentists in Orange County, New York. Soon thereafter, he built his former practice, Dolson Avenue Dental, P.C., into the premier practice in Middletown, NY. However, Dr. Owen always longed to move back to the sunshine and pleasant way of life that the Valley of the Sun has to offer, so, in 2005, he sold his practice to his associate, packed up the family and decided to open Dr. Owen Waldman, in a place that he always felt was home.×
Allen Honigman DDS
read more…Allen HonigmanDr. Allen Honigman, originally from Ottawa, Ontario in Canada, received his B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa. He then pursued an honors degree in Genetics at the University of Western Ontario. He then attended Idaho State University, and received his Masters degree in Microbiology and Immunology. After working towards a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, he decided on a dental career and went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1991 at the University. From there, he went directly to UCLA, where he finished his periodontic specialty training residency in 1993. Dr. Honigman practiced in Southern California until he moved to Guam, in 1995, to accept a position as a periodontist and dental director for Pacificare. While there, he had the opportunity to lecture at local dental society meetings. In 1999 Dr. Honigman was offered a faculty position as the Director for Undergraduate Periodontic Clinical Education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he was also awarded “Clinical Faculty of the Year” by the dental students. While there, he also gave a continuing education course on Periodontal Esthetic Surgery for the Cleveland dental community. In 2001, he moved to Arizona to practice and in 2003, opened a periodontics and implant practice in Chandler. He began utilizing CT guided implant treatment planning and placement in early 2004, and is one of the most prolific users of the technology in Arizona. In 2006, he became the first periodontist in Phoenix to incorporate LANAP (laser assisted new attachment procedure into his practice, and in 2007, started utilizing cone beam CT scanner to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning of his periodontal and implant patients. Laura Sibrava DMD
read more…Laura SibravaDr. Laura Sibrava grew up just outside of Chicago in Mount Prospect, Illinois. She attended the University of Maryland to study Microbiology and Dance. Being the only dancing scientist at the university, Dr. Laura returned back to Chicago to split her time performing with dance companies while working as a dental assistant in Oral Surgery and Orthodontics. In 2006, Dr. Sibrava returned to school to complete her Masters of Biomedical Sciences, followed by Dental School at Midwestern University, right here in Glendale, Arizona.
After dental school, Dr. Sibrava worked on the Navajo and Apache Reservations, providing pediatric dental care to the Native American people of Arizona. Most recently, Dr. Sibrava served as the Chief Dental Officer for Hidalgo Medical Services and their eleven clinics throughout Southwest New Mexico.×
Terry Kapps Assistant
read more…Terry KappsTerry is originally from the beautiful country of Poland, but moved to the U.S. in 1981, and has been living in Arizona since 1992. She went to school in New York and received her Dental Assistant degree from Bergen County College in New Jersey. Terry likes to go hiking, traveling, exploring new places, and is renowned for her fantastic talent and flair in the kitchen. More than anything, she loves to spend time with her husband Jack and her brilliant son, also named Jack. Terry has been with Brannon Dental since 1992 and is part of our Brannon family.×
Sarah McNurlin Assistant
read more…Sarah McNurlinSarah grew up in the Pacific Northwest until 2005 when she decided to move to Phoenix to get out of the cold and be closer to her Dad. Sarah pursued a degree in Associate of Applied Science at Columbia Basin College in Washington State before attending Spokane Dental Assisting School in 2005. Sarah worked as an assistant in the beautiful state of Montana before moving to Phoenix and starting with Dr Brannon in 2005. She has enjoyed working with passionate people and is always looking for ways to educate and advance her skills in the dental field. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys BBQ’s at her Dad’s house, spending time with her friends, traveling and exploring this beautiful state of Arizona.×
Holly Lindeen Hygienist
read more…Holly Lindeen Holly is originally from Minnesota, and moved to the sunny state of Arizona to get away from the bitter cold winters. She attended school in Minnesota for both dental assisting and dental hygiene, and has been in the dental field since 2003. Holly’s primary objectives as a dental hygienist include, providing patients with quality care, educating them on prevention methods, and positively influencing their oral health and overall well being. In their spare time, Holly, her husband Jon, and their two children enjoy going to movies, hanging by the pool and of course rooting for the MN Twins and Vikings!×

She graduated from Pima Medical Institute for Dental Assisting and has excelled in the Dental field. Amber’s clinical skill matched with her relaxed mannerisms make for a comforting and peaceful experience while patients are in the office. Getting certified by the State of Arizona for coronal polishing is her latest clinical achievement. Amber is married, has one son and two dogs (which are treated like her children). read more…JessieJessie moved to sunny Arizona at age 4, and considers this her forever home. Prior to joining Brannon Waldman dental group, Jessie worked for three and a half years as lead surgery assistant in a busy periodontal practice. She then switched paths, and received seven years of experience as a treatment coordinator and implant coordinator/assistant for another dental practice here in the valley. Her vast variety of exposure to different aspects of the dental field made her a great asset to Brannon Waldman Dental group, and she joined our practice in October of 2012 as a dental assistant. She has also taken the lead with developing our marketing department. In her free time, Jessie enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family and her 5 year old pug, Bruiser.×
